The Whole Story
Hei!
I have always been a creater and performer, but my painting days started 8 years ago, back home in Norway.
After finishing high school, I took a leap-year at Agder Folk School in the south of Norway. There, I wanted to spend my days dabbling in drawing, painting and printmaking before embarking on the make-or-break years of college and emerging adulthood.

Little did I know I was starting a journey that would bring me across The Atlantic, or that I would not put my paintbrushes down ever since.
The spark turned into a flame and I decided to make the south of Norway my home for a little while longer. I studied Art & Handcraft at the University og Agder, which happened to have an exchange program with Montclair State University, NJ.

I left for my four month long exchange in August of 2016, and met the love of my life a few short weeks later, a local film student named Jackson.

Once we both graduated, we eloped to Colorado and made Denver our home. I started working as a painting instructor for a local paint & sip studio, and we were fortunate to purchase the business the following year. Along followed three and a half years of blood, sweat, laughter and tears in a prosperous small business ownership endeavour.

After five years in Colorado, it was time to move closer to our families. We sold the business and moved back to New Jersey with our dog, Putter, and three-legged cat, Easel. With the gained experience and passion of painting for crowds, live wedding painting felt like the perfect next step in my painting career.
When painting from life, I experience the joy of being present, and I hope to share that joy with you!
